Martha and Chris’s Precious Moment: Their Galveston Beach Wedding!

Martha and Chris’s Galveston wedding day was so perfect and we’re super excited to share their precious moment with you! To truly understand their story, their Galveston precious moments, take a peak below. Before you view the wedding, take a look at their story. You’ll love their Galveston love story!

Galveston holds a special place in our hearts because it’s where we got to know each other. The first few weekends of our relationship were spent sitting on the beach talking for hours. Four years later, Chris proposed to me in Galveston on a balcony overlooking the beach. We knew we wanted a Galveston wedding and we exchanged our vows on the beach on May 2nd, 2015. Our photographer helped us pick the perfect time of day, right before sunset, and Galveston just looked beautiful. The weather was perfect. I found our wedding coordinator through your website and she went above and beyond. We loved our wedding and want to people to know that Galveston is a perfect place to get married!

Galveston Beach Wedding | Galveston Strand Bienville Social Reception

Brooke and Trey knew they wanted a Galveston beach wedding. With their families not being local, the couple decided to host a Texas style Galveston beach wedding.

We feel in love with their save the date coasters. It gave the guests the first glimpse of the couple’s beyond the beach wedding day of cowboy boots, home brewed beer, Texas barbecue and a ton of fun!  Trey’s friend designed this coaster. If he’s willing to share his contact with us, we’ll post his details here for those that are interested in a save the date coaster for their wedding.

Miriam + Richard | Galveston Engagement Photos

We are guilty of busily producing Galveston weddings and unintentionally holding out on these very lovely Galveston engagement photos. Following the suggestion of Steve Lee, their photographer, Miriam and Richard embraced Galveston for their Galveston engagement photography session. We’re so excited to share them with you!

Most couples look to Galveston as a coastal destination. Galveston may offer a Gulf Coast backdrop for your engagement photos, but it also offers so much more. Galveston is filled with history and so much character. Here, Miriam and Richard used the Galveston Railroad Museum as their backdrop.

Nautical Wedding Theme

Nautical Wedding Theme | Wedding Theme Tuesdays

Creating a nautical wedding theme can be a fun and elegant experience. Galveston offers many locations that will offer a picturesque backdrop to your nautical inspired nuptials. From chartering a private yacht to sail Galveston Bay to creating an elegant timeless celebration on board the 1877 Barque Elissa, your nautical wedding theme will be perfectly framed with beautiful lifetime memories.

The fun thing about nautical themes, is that there are endless possibilities of pop color choices. In this example, we illustrate the use of sunny yellow. This would be lovely with a fire red, lime green, gold tones or even a hot orange for an unexpected twist!
